Beigum EarringsRegular price $90.00 MADE TO ORDER | FINAL SALE
Beigum is the name of one of the daughters of Fathali Shah in the Qajar era. It also means a decent woman that has come from the North-West of Iran, and it has some Turkish roots. In this region, borders could not separate ethnicities and throughout history they had strong influences on each other. That is why we have many meaningful names that have come from other languages. Beigum is designed based on the form of old locks that gave women more time to wear their scarves and then come to the door. They also show our culture and how every single item was designed to make women more comfortable. Beigum is from our Bakht collection, limited collection.

Lo'bat was formed in 2018 by two friends, Golnar Ahmadian & Hediyeh Maadi Tehrani. The duo joined their creative minds in efforts to create handmade accessories. The Lo'bat girls have always kept their consciousness about materials and their potential impact on the environment. In an effort to minimize their impact on the environment, they chose to use recycled paper as the medium for making their unique, paper-mâché statement pieces.
The name Lo'bat comes from the ancient term used to compliment Persian women; meaning “beautiful lady”. The brand’s designs aim to highlight the contrast between softness and hardness, ideally to make any women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. The brand operates out of Toronto, Canada.
