A collection guided by strong ethics including fair trade, environmental stewardship, and ethical business practices, Anne Mulaire clothing honors Canada’s French, Indigenous, and Métis character, with hints of Prairie culture, notes of the North, and shades of the Pacific Northwest.
Designer Andréanne Mulaire Dandeneau, a graduate of LaSalle College School of Fashion Design in Montreal, was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba—Winnipeg’s thriving French quarter. Raised to embrace her Ojibwe/French héritage, she respects all people, and honours the planet we share. Anne’s mother, Huguette, raised her to care deeply about the environment and, as a teacher, taught her to be proud of her Métis heritage. Her father, David, influenced Andréanne through his art. He creates Métis prints for the company’s Heritage Collection. Together, this family operated business designs and manufactures their line in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
