This item is made-to-order and will take 3 - 10 business days to create before shipping. Packages come directly from each designer and therefore may arrive from multiple locations, taking varying times to prepare and deliver.
Launched in 2008, This Ilk, combines the comfortable lightweight and the ornamental aesthetic qualities of high end, new and vintage lace into a collection of textured statement jewelry.
Founded by Tamara Bavdek, who believes that lace is to textile as gold is to metal and diamonds are to rocks, each piece is carefully crafted into wearable art in limited quantities in her Montreal studio. Sourcing rare fabrics, designing, dyeing, stiffening, sewing, and assembling are all part of the process.
