Maple Wood Square Bangle
Regular price $125.00 MADE TO ORDER | FINAL SALEBoth minimalist and oversized, this square wooden bangle won't go unnoticed. Its size and graphic lines will transform your simplest outfits into an eye-catching style. Designed as a timeless piece, this sleek piece of jewelry can adapt to almost any outfit and can be worn on all sorts of occasions. Each bangle is unique: an intrinsic property of wood that celebrates the individuality of each wearer.
The bangles are made in small quantities in a woodshop in Mirabel (QC) and are finished with Kunos natural oil in my workshop in the Villeray district, in Montreal. They are all made exclusively from tree species from the Quebec forest, currently available in red maple; an essence found generously in Eastern Canada. Red maple is easy to identify in the Fall season by its leaves, which turn a superb bright red.
Red maple can live up to 100 years. Even when cut, wood is a living material; which keeps a memory and evolves over time. This bracelet is designed to follow you for many years. It will age and evolve by your side.

Inspired by the natural warmth of wood and leather, Virginie uses and combines salvaged materials to produce hybrids, sleek jewels that stand out because of their audacity and character. Taking shape from very eclectic inspirations, Louve jewelry is characterized by a singular and assertive minimalist aesthetic.
Each piece is handcrafted, one by one, with meticulous attention to detail and respect for the raw material. For both wood and leather, materials are mostly recovered, without compromise on quality. All pieces of wood are exclusively made from tree species of Quebec’s forest. An appearance, at times, unrefined, tends to be preserved at the finishing process, so as to highlight the uniqueness of each jewel, as the person who will wear it around their neck.
