HOW IT WORKS
INLAND is a business growth platform and shopping community created to accelerate Canadian emerging designer brands. For three days, from Friday, May 6 to Sunday, May 7, pop up with your collection to sell directly to customers. All sales are managed by you and no commissions are taken. How you use the space is up to you; as a showroom for pre-orders, to present your made-to-order or capsule collection, to set up meetings with buyers and clients, or to connect with new and existing customers. What do we look for?
We curate brands with great style (tour our Instagram for reference), a compelling story, and a forward vision. We showcase collections that are consciously designed, ethically created, and not mass-produced. Reducing harm to people and the planet is one of our top prioroties so we look for brands that demonstrate this in their everyday business practices. Our hope is that collections are made in Canada, but recognize that this isn't always possible and happily work with brands who produce ethically abroad.
What is included?
Retail space, some fixtures depending on the chosen space, brand signage, marketing, advertising, PR, event management, staff and volunteers, 24-hour security, and fittings rooms.
How will the popup be promoted?
We work with Matte PR to manage media and influencer relations and Media Dimensions to oversee our paid social and digital advertising. Both boutique organizations believe strongly in supporting Canadian design and work tirelessly to elevate exposure for clients. Promotions include email marketing, paid and organic social, digital media, influencer partnerships, event listings, and gained editorial. INLAND attracts millions of impressions each event.
